STRANGE OBJECTS, NEW SOLIDS AND MASSIVE THINGS

Editorial DesignWhile working at WSDIA, I designed Strange Objects, New Solids, and Massive Things, a full-color monograph showcasing the work of New York-based architectural practice Arqui-Tectonics. By rethinking the traditional manual format, the design emphasizes the cyclical, ever-changing nature of Arqui-Tectonics’ work. Informing the layout design choices, a conceptual running thread ties all projects together, revealing a larger narrative about the studio's philosophy while positioning the book as a dynamic, evolving object rather than a static, finished product. Punched holes in the printed material reference the idea of a workbook, linking this volume to a grander series of manuals yet to come. Details:
